It's official....

The real estate agent called yesterday and we've sold our house. I truly hope the new owners get to have some of the many joys of this home as we have over the years. It is the only home our youngest dd had and the only one our oldest remembers. It was the first and only home Paul and I have had. I guess I never thought of the emotional attachment I might have when we put it on the market, but man, there's a lot of good memories in these walls. BUT... we are ready to have a newer, smaller, one level home with a garage that I promise to always be able to park my car in!!!!!!

So the creative side of me has not had a chance to play this week, so I am posting a couple of scrapbook layouts I've done recently.

This was from an online class I took that required us to use corners. I will try to remember to post the supplies I used.

The next is one of myself and our youngest dd. She will be 20 next Saturday which means we will no longer have TEENAGERS!!! I don't know whether to laugh or cry!

This was taken when she was 16 and I never truly saw how much we looked alike until I saw this picture.
Don't forget to spoil dad a bit on Sunday and let him know how much you care.

Pat, congratulations on selling the house. We have had 4 homes in the last 7 years...we tend not to get too attached! Now the fun begins...packing! Your scrapbook pages are beautiful...and those lobsters are HUGE!!! Yummy!

I remember just a couple years ago getting all sentimental about selling the house I lived in all my life....but now I have a smaller house with a 2 car garage with everything i could want from central vac up ...However my two car garage only fits one car....lol. and best of all I am in a warmer climate

Oh Pat I am so happy for you in selling the house. When we sold our first house that Daren was 1 1/2 yrs old and Julie was born in I just cried and cried. It was so hard to leave the memories but then I realized that I was taking them with me. It was so nice once we were settled and able to make new memories which I am sure you and Paul will do. Congrats on the new home. Your layouts are beautiful and your sure do have the same nose and smile. Beautiful like you are!! Hugs to you!!

Your LO's are wonderful, loved the lobster pictures and made me think about the wonderful lobster that afternoon and meeting you for the first time. A great memory for me to meet you girls.

Momma- not sure if I can pass along as many congratulations as everyone else!! It is hard to believe that when Mike and I come home in 6 weeks that we won't be at our house in the Mills :(

I might be slightly sad.

But fantastic job on the layout of you and Lynds!!

Can you come organize my scrapbooking studio? And perhaps bring a suitcase full of supplies as well :)
